so i smoked a bowl in my new bong that i’m in love with and i walked out of my sauna where i smoked and into my backyard and sophie, who’s living with us was talking to my neighbor sue. they waved at me and i walked over and sophie was telling sue how her daughter and i were going with her to the movies. we’re going to see snow white and then sneak into dark shadows. i’ve already seen dark shadows but i fucking loved it and and i don’t mind seeing it again. so anyways, sophie excused herself when her phone rang eventually and then it was just me and sue talking and i explained more to her about dark shadows and that it was set in the seventies and she said she didn’t know that, and now she wanted to see it even more, because she grew up in the seventies. we talked for about twenty minutes about this and that. sue’s been a great neighbor for the 8 or so years we’ve been living here, our fences are connected so we always end up talking, our dogs are like her dogs and she buys them treats and toys and pets them at the fence and stuff when she goes out to garden. she’s great. her husband actually died about three years ago and that’s a whole nother story because we were just as close to him and we went to his funeral and what not. so at the end of our talk she said “yeah, but we don’t make it to the theater often, so” i asked who we was and she said her and her friends and i told her if we didn’t see it tonight i’d see it with her and she said “tomorrow” and i was like ok and she was like “you wouldn’t mind going to a sunday show?” i told her no. we said goodnight and i told her i’d see her tomorrow (i’m sure she’ll be out gardening so i can go and talk to her after i hot box the sauna again in the mornnn) no matter what i’m gonna tell her we didn’t see it. i don’t even mind that i have to watch it a third time. i feel really good with myself right now. (:
